What is the Southwest Dodgeball Tournament?

Simply put, the Southwest Dodgeball Tournament may become your favorite annual summer event. It’s your favorite schoolyard game combined with 7″ foam dodgeballs for easy grip and softer impact, good food, good brews, and good company, with all the net proceeds being donated to Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. This will be an all day event held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 and is the brain-child of New Mexico Piñon Coffee. With the goal of raising proceeds for a non-profit organization and creating a fun summertime event for all skill levels, New Mexico Piñon Coffee brings you the Southwest Dodgeball Tournament.

What is the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation?

All net proceeds of the tournament will benefit Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, which is a philanthropic organization providing individualized services that bridge the gap for families and children with special needs that enable them to reach their full potential by giving them the same opportunities as children who are typically developing. They strive to assist families with their medical and daily living needs and also offer long-term assistance, education and programs through funding for research scholarships and quality of life programs. What does each team receive?
How much is team registration?

Each team will receive:
• Guaranteed 100 minutes of play time
• Every person on the team will receive a swag bag
• An official 2016 Southwest Dodgeball Tournament t-shirt for every player
• Option to rent tent for the day
Team registration is $595 per team, with 10-14 players per team. Team registration will increase June 30.
Each team must have at least 4 females to start every game.
1 team registration and a 10’x10′ tent is $875.

Match play will begin at 8AM.
The tournament will conclude at approximately 4PM.

FAQs

Do I need to know who my players are when I register?
NO.

Can I bring my own tent or canopy?
YES. Personal tents are allowed.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
YES. You may bring coolers with food and drinks. NO outside alcohol. NO glass allowed.

Can I bring my dog?
NO. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Can friends and family come and watch?
YES. We encourage spectators. There is no fee for spectators.

What happens if my whole team does not show up?
Your team will be invited to play with the understanding that you may face a full team of 10 players.
